The Evans Insurance Agency is located in the beautiful lakes area of northern Minnesota. The community we serve, Grand Rapids boasts of having 1,000 lakes in the surrounding area. Our economy is dominated by tourism associated with the lakes, as well as a strong emphasis on the timber industry.
We have a paper mill, sawmill and a board plant all located within the community. With the beauty of the area you find year round recreational activities including, cross-country skiing, ski jumping, snowmobiling, two indoor hockey arenas, four 18 hole golf courses within 10 miles of the city, water skiing, excellent fishing and superb hunting. The community also has a strong emphasis towards it's young people with high quality educational facilities including a new middle school, new library (located on the Mississippi River) a community college and a first class performing arts center. The "Evans Insurance Agency" is a multi-lines insurance agency that specializes in logging insurance on a statewide basis. We have negotiated contracts with numerous quality companies for the distribution of multiple insurance products for the loggers of Minnesota and have an exclusive arrangement with one of the carriers for the distribution of their trucking coverage's on a statewide basis. In addition to the logging emphasis we also offer the full spectrum of personal insurance for members of our community. We have excellent carriers for Home, Auto, Life, Health, Recreation Vehicles and other types of personal insurance. We take great pride in providing our clients with a quality product at a fair price while assuring the companies that we represent that we have done prudent field underwriting to give them an opportunity to be profitable. Our agency has been recognized by many of the companies that we serve for the quality of business that we write for them and we are on numerous advisory boards with our companies. We are presently seeking candidates for a newly created sales position. The candidate for this job should have a desire to contribute to our agency in a manner which would be consistent with our agency philosophy of providing quality service to clients who have a proven record of risk aversion and high moral standing. A strong desire to succeed while maintaining high ethical and moral standards is a must for employment within our agency.
